Waitlisting a Course
Students may choose to waitlist a course if it is full. This is done through MyHC and is similar to the registration process.
Students will receive the option to waitlist when a class is closed and must select to be on the waitlist. An automated email will be sent to the student’s school email account when a spot is opens in the class. Make sure to check your junk email box! The student will then have 72 hours to register for the course waitlisted. After the first day of class, the student will have 36 hours to register. The waitlist will close August 30, 2013. Financial Aid Disbursement Changes for Fall 2013:
Financial Aid will not disburse until the day after the last day to add classes. Students receiving aid should expect to receive their funds approximately 7-10 days afterward. All grants and scholarships as well as half of the loan for the semester will disburse at this time. The remaining half of the loan will disburse at mid-term.

The Student Email upgrade from Live@EDU to Office 365 will take place August 5th through August 9th. During the upgrade access to Student Email will be unavailable.
There will be no change to the process of accessing email and student email addresses will remain the same.

Financial Aid Refunds
If you have accepted financial aid in excess of your tuition and fees, you should see a refund check in the mail sometime the end of the week prior to classes starting. This is true ONLY if you have completed all required paperwork in the Financial Aid and Business Offices. Please check your MyHC to see that you have completed all requirements for BOTH the Financial Aid (Tab 6) and Business Office (signed schedule bill).
