NEW! Discover the Dinosaurs of Montana
Dig into the science of dinosaur paleontology! Experience modern, cutting-edge investigations into these ancient charismatic animal discoveries in Montana. Topics will include dinosaur paleobiology, sedimentary geology, fossilization, and search and excavation techniques.
You will have the opportunity to first see dinosaur material in the lab Friday night, then assist in the prospecting and excavation of real dinosaur discoveries with a team of researchers all day Saturday. Course will include a narrated trip from Helena to Bynum, Montana in a class vehicle, a visit to an active dinosaur research center, and lunch is provided. Your instructor has 10 years’ experince leading palentological and geoscience field investigations with students of all ages and backgrounds.
Christopher Matson, 13.5 class hours.5:30-8p Friday and 7a-4p Saturday — your choice of weekends —August 3-4 OR August 17-18.
Tuition: $175 per person.
Please note that students under the age of 18 will require a participating guardian.
