Helena College Honors Pathway Program with UM-Davidson Honors College

Helena College has signed an articulation agreement with the University of Montana-Davidson Honors College and will begin offering an honors pathway program.  The agreement will provide a clear pathway for students in the Helena College Honors program to transfer all of their coursework to UM and ultimately graduate from UM with the Davidson Honors College University Scholar distinction.  All students enrolling in Helena College general transfer degree advising options are eligible to apply for the honors program.  Students who successfully complete each of the requirements of the program will be granted admission to the Davidson Honors College at UM with junior standing.

According to Dr. Denise Runge, Academic Dean at Helena College, the program allows students to stay in Helena and obtain their general education requirements at Helena College tuition rates before focusing on a program of study at the University of Montana.  “We are excited to be able to offer students the opportunity to obtain the honors scholar designation at both Helena College and the University of Montana.”

The honors program will begin accepting students in the fall of 2014.  For more information, download the application or call the college at 447-6904.

Students must be admitted to Helena College prior to applying for the Honors Pathway Program.
